PartyNextDoor talks about his future goals

Singer, Partynextdoor talks about his future goals, and says he was influenced by Kanye West. He has also been on the promotion line as he takes the road for his Summer’s Over Tour with Jeremih.
“I competitively want to produce just as many records for Drake as Kanye West did for Jay Z,” he tells Now magazine in his first Canadian interview. “I want to write just as much as Kanye may have for whomever Kanye has written for. I want to do as much as I can do while I’m young.”

He later added, “When I was younger I was influenced by Kanye, his story of coming up and how he kept producing and producing and saying, ‘I’m more than just a producer. I’m more than just a writer. I’m more than just a guy in the studio here to give you ideas. I have a story.'”

It seems like Partynextdoor doesn’t have a problem with expressing himself
“I even said this on the phone with the label yesterday. I think everyone has their roles, and in my opinion, I’m like the young hot boy of OVO, stubborn, very step out on his own and doing his own thing. I might want to do pop. I would call myself the Pharrell of O.V.O. There are no rules for me”, He said.

Born as Jahron Anthony Brathwaite, but best known by his stage name PartyNextDoor, is a Canadian rapper, singer, record producer & songwriter.
He is the first artist to be signed to Drake’s O.V.O Sound record label in 2013. He released his first E.P titled “PartyNextDoor”. Since then, PartyNextDoor has released “PartyNextDoor Two” (2014), “PNDColours” also in 2014, and the recently released PartyNextDoor 3 in 2016.

He has worked with top artistes in the music industry, especially rappers, including Drake, Jeremih, Rihanna and Big Sean.

He also penned “Work” and “Sex with Me” on Rihanna’s “Anti” album.

He is really working hard to reach his goals. He recently announced joint project with Jeremih, although he claimed that the album might arrive sooner than we had thought. He also said, “We’ve made a lot of music together, but music has been leaked that wasn’t officially arranged right,” Party explained. “So we’re letting that cool out and we’ll hopefully put together an official project for the people after this tour.”
